What You'll Be Doing
- Develop streaming and batch data pipelines for generating scores from ML models on the cloud
- Deploy ML models on the cloud with some infrastructure components on-prem
- Adhere to standards and best practices for developing and deploying ML pipelines on the cloud
- Collaborate with data scientists during model development, testing, deployment
- Participate where needed in the ML lifecycle
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks as needed by the ML Engineering or Operations teams

Experience & Skills You're Bringing
- 2+ years of proven experience building production-grade systems on the cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
- 3+ years of proven experience building data pipelines and applications using Java
- Proven experience building data pipelines using Python
- Proven experience building streaming data pipelines and applications
- 1+ years of proven experience with distributed big data processing technologies such as Spark, Beam (Google Cloud Dataflow)
- Strong SQL skills (experience with Google Cloud BigQuery strongly preferred)
- Thorough understanding of the ML lifecycle, SDLC and software development best practices
- Experience developing and/or deploying models in various frameworks (scikit-learn, xgboost, tensorflow, pytorch etc.)
- Strong programming skills with emphasis on Object oriented programming, modular programming, code organization and software engineering best practices
- 2+ years of proven experience with Docker and containerized applications
- Familiarity with git for version control
- Experience with Apache Airflow/Google Cloud Composer
- Familiarity with NLP models a strong plus
