- Participate in assessing performance of current applications and identifying improvements; participate in a study of potential impact on new systems and repercussions on performance of existing systems.
- Plan and coordinate installation of new releases of system, development and application software, and communicate information to user groups.
- Participate in establishing and revising security backup procedures.
- Advise and participate in performance of studies on computer security, as it pertains to physical management of data and emergency recovery plans.
- Assist users and internal teams experiencing technical problems

Assurer un rendement efficace des systèmes et définir leurs paramètres en fonction des caractéristiques des applications développées. Participer à la réalisation d'études sur le choix de logiciels ou de matériel. Effectuer une vigie des produits et des logiciels. Élaborer et optimiser la définition de l'architecture physique des équipements utilisés pour l'exploitation du système. Participer à l'évaluation de la performance des applications actuelles et à l'identification des améliorations à apporter. Participer à l'étude des impacts possibles de nouveaux systèmes et des répercussions sur la performance des systèmes déjà existants. Planifier et coordonner les installations des nouvelles versions de logiciels d'exploitation, de développement et d'application et diffuser l'information auprès des groupes d'usagers. Participer à l'établissement et à la révision des procédures de prises de copies de sécurité. Conseiller et participer à la réalisation des études liées à la sécurité informatique, tant du point de la gestion physique des données que de celui des plans de relève en cas de catastrophe. Dépanner adéquatement les utilisateurs et les équipes internes en cas de problème technique.
