Our client, one of Canada's leading companies, is hiring a Junior Financial Project Manager in Toronto, ON on a 12-month contract engagement! In this role, you would work with financial primes sponsors for large projects for our client's Government client. Strong knowledge of SAP is needed to be able to manage project financials, including the ability to pull data from SAP (Actuals/Forecast).

What You'll Be Doing
- Bringing 1-3 years relevant experience, including the ability to input to one or several projects of a smaller nature with no direct reports.
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.
- Projects may involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment, process improvement, etc.
- Coordinating work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
- Developing detailed project plans and managing all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
- In this role, projects will be limited in number, size and complexity and you will usually work under the direction of a senior project/program manager.

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual interested in working as a Project Manager with cross functional project delivery teams on projects related to Solution Delivery for Large retail, Banking and Government clients. In partnership with multiple sponsors and vendors, the candidate will be responsible to deliver a variety of projects related to system solutions for our key clients.

- Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and constant changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and sense of team spirit

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
- A Masters Certificate in Project Management is highly recommended and such candidates will be given first consideration
- PMP Certification is highly regarded
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Knowledge of Agile & SAFe methodologies an asset
- Ability to work extended hours to meet project deliverables when necessary
