Our client, an award-winning technology company, is hiring a remote Technical Product Manager! In this role, you will help our client deliver the roadmap and bring amazing new features and products to the travel community, both passengers and travel providers. This role requires prior experience in the travel industy, and solid experience with Agile and managing a clear, well-defined and prioritized backlog.
For this role, you can be anywhere in Canada or the United States, given you are comfortable working within the EST timezone.

What You'll Be Doing
You are the bridge between the business that defines a roadmap and the engineering teams that bring the roadmap to life. This means the TPM is a PO that writes stories and acceptance criteria, a project manager that organizes and communicates to stakeholders and very importantly the technical first line that can vet and investigate issues. The TPM is a skilled well-rounded person that understands business needs and can translate them into our client's system and services.
Experience & Skills You're Bringing
- Solid experience with Agile and managing a clear, well-defined and prioritized backlog.
- Comfortable working in the backend i.e using a tool to simulate API requests/responses, understand integration points, read system diagrams.
- Able to troubleshoot and dig into issues through (basic) database queries, looking through logs and simulating front-end flows
- Confident Product Owner that focuses on business problems, users flows and is data-centric for decisions and insights.
- Precise and reliable SME that educates and field questions from other business units.
- Inquisitive and able to question priority, requirements and design in a respectful, productive manner.
- Natural leader and inclined to take initiative to fill in the gaps! You have a 'in this together' mentality and can lend a hand in drafting requirements, test plans and more.
