Senior DevOps Engineer

Full-Time Position - Mississauga

Hiring full-time Senior DevOps Engineers in Mississauga, ON! These positions will be key members of our client's product development team responsible for the provisioning and maintenance of the tools, infrastructure, build/deployment pipelines, and source code repositories.

This role will collaborate with software developers, QA Engineers, Cloud Administrators (CloudOps), operations and other IT staff members to manage all aspects of the code releases. It requires strong skills in automating build process and provisioning infrastructure, especially in AWS.

What You'll Be Doing
- Manage all tools, infrastructure and build pipelines
- Automate the provisioning, run, teardown, and monitoring of new environments
- Ensure that all critical development infrastructure is secured, backed up and/or snapshotted
- Own the source code repositories and requisite branching activities
- Coordinates technical dependencies with SCRUM teams and provide support as needed
- Continuous improvement in all aspects of the CI/CD infrastructure
- Collaborate with CloudOps engineers to share best practices and knowledge of emerging technologies
- Work with a sense of urgency; embrace mistakes, learn from them, and drive the team toward success

Education Requirements
- Post-Secondary Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent grasp of modern software engineering principles, practices, and technologies (Web/Microsoft)

Other Skills We'd Love to See
- Fluent with the Microsoft platform and tool set (Server 2016, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, PowerShell, etc)
- Strong Linux systems management expertise
- Expert in AWS infrastructure and tool sets
- Master of the development release process and tools
